You can no longer pay with cash at the Public Prosecutor's Office

ORANJESTAD - The Public Prosecutor's Office will no longer accept cash payments effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

This means that you can no longer pay fines, transactions, and certificates of good conduct (vog) with cash at the cash register. You must pay with your debit or credit card or online through the bank.

The decision of the OM to no longer accept cash payments is partly at the recommendation of the Central Bank Aruba. In addition, there are business practice reasons. The collection, processing, and deposit of cash complicate business operations and are also more costly than other forms of payment.
